BABY CLINIC NEWS!

Our Child Health Immunizations Clinic are held every Tuesday from 11:15 am - 1:30 pm.

This service is for well children only, parents with unwell babies (vomiting, fever and diarrhoea) should  contact the surgery.

Cervical Screening

Did you know…

Cervical cancer is largely preventable.

Cervical smear tests saves 5,000 lives a year in the UK.

Cervical smear test last five minutes but the impact of the test can last a lifetime.

Do you know…   

All women aged 25 to 64 who are registered with a GP are invited for Cervical screening.

If you have registered for GP online Access you can book your cervical smear test online or alternatively come into to practice a book at reception.

If you would like further information on Cervical Screening, pleas speak to the receptionist.

Did you know…

The Hub service offers Smear Screening appointments in the evening and at the weekend seven days a week, please ask at reception for more details.  

Cervical screening is a test to detect abnormalities that can be treated to prevent cancer developing. Being tested regularly (every 3-5 years) provides a high degree of protection against developing cervical cancer.
