Appointments are for 15 minutes, but if you feel you need longer then please ask the receptionist to make a double appointment. An appointment can be made either at the surgery or by phone during surgery hours.
If you find you cannot keep your appointment please call us to cancel it as soon as possible so that we can offer it to another patient. Patients who require an interpreter will need to book a double appointment.

Making an appointment
Booking ahead - You can book an appointment up to 4 weeks ahead with your usual doctor or nurse. We will try to accommodate your request if you prefer to book further ahead.
Pre booked appointment are especially useful if:
- You plan to bring an interpreter with you
- You are attending one of our special nurse run clinics
- You are being followed up by a particular doctor and that doctor has requested a pre-booked appointment,
- You can be sure to come in.
If you need to be seen urgently, you must ring the practice before 1pm. You will initially be given a telephone triage with the duty doctor. That is, the doctor will phone you back on the telephone number you have left within a few hours. Triage means responding to the most serious problem first. Please give the receptionist an idea of your problem, so they can tell the doctor.
The doctor will phone you to discuss the problem and together decide the best course of action. He or she may want to call you in to examine you within a safe interval.
The phone lines are closed between 1pm & 4pm. If you ring after 4pm you will only be seen that day if your problem cannot possibly wait.
Cancelling an Appointment
There is a cancellation line at the practice which you may use to cancel your booked appointment 24hrs a day.
All you need do is phone the main surgery line on 020 7624 2414; listen to the greeting message and follow the instructions. Please remember to speak clearly, leaving your name and the appointment time you wish to cancel. We urge all patients to use this facility to help reduce wasted consultation time, as well as release appointments for someone else in need.
