Tests and Results
Your Results
Please check your NHS App or Patchs for test results, if you are unable to do this please call the practice after 10am when the phone lines are quieter.
Most blood tests and X-ray results take at least a week to come through. Pregnancy tests are usually available after 2 days – please call in person for this as it will not be given over the phone.
We do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect, we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior written permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
Blood Tests
Blood tests are by appointment only. Bring the test form with you.
Results are usually available within a week. Please register with our online services and view your results and GP comments online through our website or download the NHS App onto your smartphone for convenience, alternatively please phone after 11am for results.
